This project is an exploration of editorial identity and bespoke typography. Using Jeremy Campbell’s "Winston Churchill's Afternoon Nap" as a catalyst, I developed a comprehensive book cover concept that mirrors the book's core theme: "A wide-awake inquiry into the human nature of time."
The goal was to create a visual system that felt as expansive and layered as the subject matter itself. By blending hand-drawn illustrations with custom-lettered typography and digital color, I sought to bridge the gap between traditional literary aesthetics and modern design.

Execution & Process
Medium: Hand-drawn ink illustration, custom typography, and digital coloring.
Concept: Developed during the Ghostshrimp Illustration Workshop as a study in narrative world-building within a single frame.
Design Intent: To commemorate Campbell’s work with a cover that feels both grounded in history and fluid in its interpretation of time.
