Creative Lead
The challenge was to capture the intersection of high-fidelity music production and the rugged wilderness of Stanley, Idaho. I wanted to move beyond a standard landscape illustration and create a visual metaphor that celebrated the technical soul of a music festival. The result was the "Landscape Mixer"—elements of live sound (faders, knobs, cables) and the geography of Stanley, Idaho (RV convoys, mountain skylines. The narrative honors both the technical production of the music and the physical journey of the festival-goers.

Creative Strategy
My role went beyond illustration; rather than delivering a single static image, I engineered a modular composition. By designing the "faders" as RVs and the "knobs" as stage gear, I created a library of individual assets that the client could "strip out" for social media lineup announcements and press releases without losing brand consistency.

Human Element
This project started with a pencil and a sketchbook. By prioritizing a process-driven approach—beginning with a comprehensive graphite drawing—I ensured that the final digital product retained the warmth and "hand-built" feel that the Sawtooth Valley community values. It’s a bridge between the precision of a digital mixing board and the grit of an Idaho mountain trail.
