Creative Lead
Building on a multi-year partnership with the "Relax Shacks" brand, I served as the creative engine for their flagship annual event. My role was to bridge the gap between their "hand-made" construction aesthetic and a sense of imaginative wonder. Given full creative autonomy, I navigated the project from initial structural concept to the final promotional assets, ensuring the visual identity reflected the unconventional and boundary-pushing nature of the Diedricksen brothers' work.

Vision
I engineered a composition that balanced high-detail narrative art with essential event information. By placing the "Robot House" as the dominant focal point against the distant Vermont mountains, I established a clear visual hierarchy.

Creative Strategy
I anticipated the client's need for a "hand-made" feel, utilizing a traditional drawing style that mirrors their "artisan/craft" building methods, ensuring the brand remained authentic to its DIY roots while scaling up the imaginative scope.

Human Element
This project is rooted in a long-standing creative alliance. My "human-centered" approach involves deeply understanding the client's ethos—in this case, builders who reject everyday standards. I sought to illustrate the experience of the camps: a place where reclaimed materials and high-concept ideas meet in the dirt.
