Creative Lead
For the Hot Water Inn, a boutique mountain hotel and venue, I served as the visual architect for their live music programming. My role was to bridge the gap between touring artists and the local community, creating high-impact visual artifacts that elevated the venue's reputation as a key stop on the regional circuit. I navigated the transition from digital promotional assets to high-end physical merchandise, ensuring each event was anchored by a professional, artisan-grade identity.

Vision
The vision for the Hot Water Inn series was to capture the "High Desert Mysticism" and rugged environmental realities of Idaho. For the Treefort Pre-Party, I synthesized the iconic "campfire sticks" logo with my own narrative of a Great Horned Owl to signal a "mystical experience" in the mountains. For the Finn Riggins homecoming, I utilized a "Fire and Snow" metaphor—referencing the forest fires of that season set against the cold winter of the Wood River Valley—to mirror the sheer sonic force of the band.

Creative Strategy
I engineered a Hybrid Distribution Strategy: creating digital assets for social promotion while simultaneously managing the Physical Production of limited-edition prints. For the Finn Riggins posters, I oversaw the entire manufacturing lifecycle—from hand-drawn separation and halftones to a multi-color screen print produced in-house. This turned a standard concert flyer into a high-value commemorative item that generated additional revenue for the artists.

Human Element
These projects are deeply personal, rooted in the Boise and Wood River Valley music communities. My history as a musician—having toured with bands like Jared Mees—allowed me to act as a "peer-to-peer" collaborator with the artists. The Finn Riggins print was especially significant, as it was a joy to create and screen print with my wife, reinforcing the artisan/craft values that define both my personal life and my professional practice.
