Creative Lead
Bridging the gap between fine art and commercial packaging, I translate complex conceptual narratives into tactile products. For this project, I served as the bridge between a band’s sonic identity and a physical artifact, navigating the transition from a standalone illustration into a multi-panel print production. My goal was to ensure the visual "language" of the artwork felt as intentional and layered as the psych-rock energy of the music itself.

Vision
The conceptual anchor of this project is the ascension of consciousness. I developed a visual narrative where a central figure travels through increasing layers of complexity. When Marshall Poole approached me for their album Pasadena, we recognized that this visual exploration of internal layers was the perfect companion to their expansive, psychedelic sound.

Creative Strategy
As the Lead, I anticipated the technical requirements of a high-quality physical release. I expanded a single conceptual piece into a comprehensive tactile experience, engineering a full six-panel layout. This involved managing the "Outside Full Spread" and "Inside Full Spread" to ensure a seamless narrative flow from the front cover to the back, while maintaining meticulous alignment for the physical printing and folding process.

Human Element
This collaboration grew out of the Boise music community while I was on the road as a touring drummer. My dual background in audio and visual arts allows me to speak the artist's language; I understand that an album isn't just merchandise—it’s a legacy. I focused on making the typography and layout feel hand-crafted, honoring the years of work the band put into the songs.
