Up! Lifting

Capricorn (12/22-1/19)

Today is a great day to try something that you have always wanted to try -- but have been too scared to tackle! Your fears are vanishing right now and your bold personality wants to come out to play. If you think about it, there is no point in holding back when it comes to what you really want. Push on! How else are you ever going to do it? You have the energy you need, so put it good use by pushing the envelope and exploring all the boundaries of your world.

75,000 Rally in Portland for Obama

We've been seeing stories about the huge lines for the outdoor rally at Waterfront Park in Portland, Oregon. It's now been confirmed that the actual crowd on hand topped 75,000 people (60,000 inside the gates of Waterfront Park, with another 15,000 outside). Here is what the largest crowd yet of this Presidential campaign looks like:

Day in the Lyfe Graffiti Art Magazine

READ/SUBSCRIBE TO: DAY IN THE LYFE I found this magazine in a bookstore in Bloomington, IN. It quickly became one of my favorite magazines. With chock-loads of graffiti, traditional art, photography, articles and other crazy nonsense. It's a great visual change of pace from all those magazines that fill their pages with words. Support your local civil disobedience!

Obama rises from political obscurity to verge of history

Read Article: Obama rises from political obscurity to verge of history

"Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., a longtime friend and supporter, said "nothing was ever the same" after Obama's Boston speech.

Durbin recalls pulling Obama into a vacant meeting room in Chicago's Union League Club, where both had spoken on a Friday afternoon in November 2006. He felt it was time for his young colleague to decide whether to run for the White House.

"There are moments in life when you can pick the time," Durbin said he told Obama. "But when it comes to running for president, the time can pick you. You've been picked. This is your moment."

A short time later, Obama launched his candidacy."
