The Big Picture
Follow the clouds in the sky, to the sun peeking out above. A warming trend caused by the god that we love. But do we love something that destroys what it creates? Or do we bottle up our feelings of violence and hate.. to explode when the load gets too heavy to debate?.... Whether it's good or bad, whether it's civil or not, the world's getting warmer.. blistering hot.
But if we do in fact, love this blind god who acts, like the puppeteer tangling the lines from our back... can we forgive it for taking away the fact, that we're all here for a few moments, no looking back? And then we question, vocalizing as we ask, does it really matter if we're white, brown or black? For it's the realization of circumstances that we lack... That we're all brothers, all sisters, from times that go way back. The beginning of man, the beginning of the world, is too large to consider when we're busy creating war.
So I ask you today, to place some trust in your heart, and listen to that voice that keeps you from falling apart. It's the god inside of us, whispering as we walk. Treat others with kindness, and be mindful when you talk.
And the sun above sets, and rises as it will. To once again greet the day, end the day, a legendary story it fulfills. Time, place, existence and race.. are all but quick dashes between the sentences that displace, the meanings and verbs we write down in words, to capture the moment of what we've seen and what we've heard. Til' the end of the world, and the miracle of each day, love your neighbor as yourself. That's all that I'll say..
