Heartbeats

If it wasn't like this
then it would be exactly like it was.
Which is just like it was
at the beginning of the world.

If I didn't know all of you
then I wouldn't know who I was.
Which is just like saying
that you're my friends forever.

We may never share moments
just like we always used to,
but I can look at the stars
and always know exactly where you're at.

And if I'd never known all of you
my universe wouldn't have been complete.
You're the bright shining stars
way off in the distance.

I feel your warmth
but a distance we will all keep.
So that our wonderful rays of light
aren't swallowed up by each other.

But merely breathed.. In and Out.

Pay Attention, Kev!

You need to make quality-of-life issues a top priority ASAP! Stop thinking about what you 'should' be doing all the time. Instead, think about how you can start living a healthier, more fulfilling life.

The Art of Living

What is the Art of Living?

Taking time to smell the flowers,
Counting joys instead of hours,
Delighting in the simplest things,
Letting all your thoughts have wings,
Feeling peaceful deep inside,
Facing everything in stride,
Balancing both work and play,
Learning along the way...
Moving toward a dream or goal,
Nurturing your heart and soul,
Finding beauty everywhere,
Understanding true success...
Choosing love and happiness...
Sharing with a special friend,
Enjoying all that life can send!

A WHALE OF A TALE

The whale harkens back to a far different era. If 130 years old, it would have been born in 1877, the year Rutherford B. Hayes was sworn in as president, when federal Reconstruction troops withdrew from the South and when Thomas Edison unveiled his newest invention, the phonograph.

The 49-foot male whale died when it was shot with a similar projectile last month, and the older device was found buried beneath its blubber as hunters carved it with a chain saw for harvesting. (man that sounds sick)
