Turning the beat around..

Daily Overview for Capricorn - January 27, 2006
Provided by Astrology.com

Quickie:
All your plans are working so put things on autopilot for a while -- take a break!

Overview:
Even if the current circumstances look gloomy, have a little faith. Eventually, they're destined to reach a happy ending. The universe just needs some time to work out the perfect way to turn this situation around.

Extended:
Fasten your seatbelt and put your tray table in its upright position. You're about to take flight -- and that applies to every possible corner of your life, but most especially to affairs of the heart. So if you've been seeing someone casually, that won't be the case any longer. One or both of you will either want to make a commitment or say your goodbyes. But don't worry; the heavens are chock full of romance, and betting on anything other than commitment just wouldn't be prudent.

This Strange Day...

Today is a special Friday, January 13th, 2006.
I'm listening to Built to Spill's "Strange"..

this strange plan is random at best
this strange how much more can i take
this strange changing atmosphere
and it gravity too in its severity

this strange day is almost over
just started to get sick of it

and its strange but not all that strange
yeah its strange but whats so strange about that
yeah its strange but what isnt strange
yeah its strange but oh well

this strange plan is random at best
this strange how much more can i take
this strange sound you said i said
youre not listening or im not saying it right

this strange war of promises
lets call this a truce, well call it the truth

and its strange but not all that strange
yeah its strange but whats so strange about that

yeah its strange but what isnt strange
yeah its strange but oh well

Wed. Jan. 4th, 2006

It was my birthday today. I turned 25 years old. Not sure what that means, but I had a great day. I've also had the most amazing time hanging out with friends and family the past 9 days. It's all of them, and all of the places that I love that I miss when I'm gone. If only the story that is my life took place out West. Then I would be content with sticking around, having fun with my friends. But these people that I so honestly love and adore, live in a place I no longer strive for. If this wasn't home, it would be somewhere else. But as it turns out, Indy is my home base. I'll have new homes, new places, new futures, but I've never understood the term home, as well as I have this past week.

To all of you who have shared your time with me, and who have laughed, cried, farted, and shared with me their personal and entire lives.. I thank you. You mean the world to me.

Goodnight.. as I turn 25 and 1 day old.
