Break it down...

Look a man straight in his eyes,
tell him he's blind..
All the glares and stares,
all a part of his life.

Turning each corner,
stepping quickly going farther..
Spending every last moment
on this one or the other.

Guessing in rhyme,
pillow's quiet.. go to bed..
Another day spent,
in his pocket and his head.

Spin, Spin.. Crash,
Be gone in a flash.
This world is meant for you,
to just sit and laugh.

Words, thoughts, feelings, problems..
all in the mix.
A man caught behind,
on his daily lists.

In the mirror, in the room..
With no emotional tact..
Stands a man asking questions,
to the man looking back.

Merry Christmas to All...

Everything is not what it seems. Everyone isn't racist, everyone isn't evil. Everyone is not bad. There is some good in this world, there's a lot of good. I need to work on recognizing that. We all do.

Christmas is good I've come to realize. Not only because it's time to be happy, but because underneath all the crazy corporate buy-me everything-now sort of mentality, christmas at it's bare minimum is basically a good thing. To let everyone know that there was a man at one time who started a tradition of giving to others out of pure joy, and expecting nothing in return. That should be the reason to live every day.

Christmas should be every day, at least in our minds. I think that's why I've lost the meaning of christmas surrounding December 25th. Christmas is year round people, that's what's soooo cooool about it.

...And to all a chilly night with a 75% chance of precipitation.

Recall

So I'm perusing through the Yahoo! Top Stories and I get:

Pathbreaking Comedian Richard Pryor Dies (AP)
4 U.S. Troops Die in Separate Iraq Attacks (AP)
Nigerian Jet Crash Kills at Least 103 (AP)
1968 Presidential Upstart McCarthy Dies (AP)
ElBaradei says nuclear arms should be taboo as slavery (Reuters)

So what it seems to me, is that they should switch the section heading from "Yahoo! News: Top Stories"... to "Yahoo Obituaries: Top Deaths"...

I mean, come on.. who in their right mind actually wants to read about deaths constantly? Why is it the only news we get, is what bad happened? Why has the news turned into an obituary section, engaging people in fear.. Scaring people into thinking that they may soon end up on a "news headline" as dead.. Perhaps in a burning coal mine, or falling building, or a ravashed airplane ride, or a great huge tsunami or hurricane... What will your headline look like?

"25 year old indiana man decapitated in hostage seige"... Reports from friends say he was a kind and loving person, always willing to make someone else feel good. He will be missed, with or without a head.

That'd be weird..

So I want a recall on these "News Headlines" claims.. I want them to put the true heading on it.. Obituaries.. for the dead, by the dead.

Is Environmentalism Dead?

it never started...
that's the honest truth..

since the dawn of the human ages..
man breeds, man uses, man destroys..
there's no fighting.. only less consuming.. but that'll only be a band-aid

the earth is in control of us, don't you people get it?

It's Snowing!!!

Something that doesn't usually occur in Seattle, but maybe once or twice a year. I wish it was sticking, but oh well. I got to walk to the Space Needle and stare up at it while the snow was coming down. It's 2pm and coming down pretty good right now.. huge, fat flakes. mmmm Snow......
