Why.. oh Why..

You know what I see? Too much media coverage of this. He's probably happy in hell knowing that this is getting so much media attention. Just as a terrorist looks to get his bombing on camera, and promote his violence.. you're helping to promote his violence. He knew he would get recognized for this, and by god.. he has. Congratulations to all media people for making this out to be more than it is. One person who was not mentally fit to be in this life.

How about the 30-50 people killed in the cities of Iraq almost daily.. how about the thousands of people dying there this year. We're so quick to be saddened by our own losses, but when those losses are happening around the world, we act as if it's just the normal daily news.

Are college campuses safe? Are places of work safe? Are open-air markets safe? Are malls safe? Are airplanes safe? Are our homes safe? Are our cities safe? Are our towns and villages safe? Are our streets safe? Are the Amish safe? Are the christians and religious folks safe? Are the atheists safe? Are the normal, every day, 9-5 working average joes safe?

Is anybody safe from dillusional people, and psycopaths? No, we're not.

The more violence we display on our prime-time televisions, on our news channels (24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year), in our every day lives.. the more and more killing we will see pour into our own little parts of town that we thought were safe. The technological spread of violence.

Now, the next shooter will see how much coverage this is getting, and yearn for that feeling of flipping the finger to the world, through the barrels of his or her guns, and in the eyes of millions of millions of frightened, fearful people.

So again, congratulations to the mainstream media for making this sad state of the world 100% worse.

I agree with you, kevin. Every second, minute, hour... they always kill people.

All I can say is to be careful and alert always.
