My first article.. or whatever

The news today is scary. In fact, it's down right terrifying. We, the wonderful human beings of the world, have to be subjected to this filth... every... stinking... day. Please will everybody find their lost people they've been looking for, please stop all the stupid "you shoot me, I shoot you back" sort of nonsense, and for god's sake please put out those damn fires... while you're at it please stop killing children, and raping women, and murdering innocent people, and hiding bodies in wooded fields, and putting murders on television, and airing television shows that show how insane, psychopathic, murder-crazed people invent the motives they do..

The news is what's freakin getting to everyone. It's the bad rumors, it's the filtered opinions, it's the bad pictures, or awkward moments, or low numbers, or if the team won the big game or not. It's a disease spread amongst every person who watches the news, or is innadvertantly subjected to its presence... It is the only way one side of the world can see the other side of the world... and through what kind of eyes are we seeing the other side of the world.. other than.

And I quote from CNN.com(©):
Watch: Suicide bomber hits Marine convoy <- No, Thank You
• Bush, al-Jaafari vow to defeat insurgents <- HA!
• Cheney: Iraq will be 'success story' <- HA!
Special Report: Coalition Casualties <- Woohoo!

That's just four lines and I'm already baffled as to what the hell is really going on. And it's been going on forever now. And we all just sit back and soak it in, like it's breakfast, lunch and dinner. Better catch a few extra news specials in between for a few mid-day snacks.

We're breeding our own violence and ignorance. Instead of a gigantic world coming together, we have a divided world continuing to seperate. We have people in this country hating people from that country because of what one guy said to another guy... that being the president and whomever he wishes to cuddle up to the next day. War here, war there.. war everywhere. Starvation, death, beheadings, bombs, river floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, the snow melting, the snow in March. What have you... He'll take care of it, rest assured, or else he has a bunch of crying sissys bitching to him from the sidelines as to why their needs aren't being fulfilled by their president. Protestors yell, and all they get is ignored. Some might question the use in protesting, or why we should even be allowing ourselves to accept this kind of behavior from a government who could give two shits for our common good.

A subsequent analogy of the news today.
