Christmas

Do you remember when you believed in Santa? My brother asked me.. and I really didn't have the words to answer back... I just shook my head yes, and thought about all the times when I was excited about Santa coming to visit me brining every good thing he could imagine. I remember when I believed in Santa.

What if you never believed in Santa?

Take Santa out of the equation and replace it with anything you believed in when you were a kid, and now as an adult you don't believe in it anymore. Like for me.. summer time, I remember when I believed summer time was the time of endless fun and staying up as late as we could watching horror movies and playing legos. Now I know it's just another time to go through the same daily routine. I think my point was that ignorance is bliss, no matter what you talk about.

Yeah, children have an innocence that can't, well, can't be described. That's the biggest problem I've had with getting older, trying to figure out how to retain that innocence while still growing up. It's not easy to be a child and an adult at the same time and have it be a good thing. It's an aspiration, though.
